Greetings Earthlings.
The month of May 2010 has been good to me, so I usually take a bit of time at the end of each month to consider which course of travel is best for the upcoming month to achieve even better results.

(T.G.I.F.) Thank God It’s Freeday.
Funny how the game goes as we have something to grow on over the weekend, and it has been demonstrated again that a million pages worth of words cannot match the validity of life experienced in real time.

If you had the chance to view last nights Lakers vs. Suns game, you had the opportunity to witness and experience an epic drama based on the concept of human decision.

If it touched a nerve in you as it did me, it is because just about everyone watching has been put into a situation in which risks were taken which lead to a failure and redemption became the new cause.

The shit happens to me all the time as I am somewhat of a calculated risk taker, yet the interesting part of the story shows in the faces on the Lakers team, staff, and fans before and after the effects of the game buzzer beater.

The person who actually explained the game of winners the best, in my opinion was Tom Cruise in an interview on The Actors Studio.

He was asked one of those deep philosophical questions that the program is known for, and his response was as follows.

“I’m going to make my own decisions, and they’re going to be my mistakes, and EVERYONES victory.

I added Tom Cruise to the story as he freqents home games in a court side seat at the Staples Center, and the dots tend to connect as such in
The City Of Angels.

The point of the story is simply that big payoffs require big bets, and while there is a chance that you may miss a long shot, there is also a chance that you may hit, yet if you miss, there is an opportunity to redeem yourself for even greater glory, yet a true player knows that it is impossible to score if you are too scared to shoot due to the backlash that usually comes with missing the shot.

Captains Log – Stardate –  Thursday May 27, 2010

Following my usual daily routine of heading to 7-Eleven and or Starbucks across the street, depending on which has the most action, I entered into the 7-Eleven to pick up some creamers for my coffee and other items and chat with my friends who are employed at the store.

As I arrive at the coffee prep station I notice an older Latino man having a discussion with a middle aged African American woman.

The conversation seemed to be pleasant and stimulating, yet the smile on the face of Terry, the store manager showed that he was also being entertained as a part of the daily drama that takes place in the store during the early morning hours where people stop to fill up on gas and other items before they begin their work day.

After the lady heads to the register, he strikes up a conversation with me asking how I was. I replied that I was feeling good and had no complaints, and he said that I shouldn’t have any complaints as I am in America, where I could be in Iraq of Afghanistan.

He then proceeds to inform me that he just quit his job, and his reasoning was that going to work was just like going to jail and that the pay was just a bit better, so on and so forth. I smiled and said that was interesting to know, and he began to preach about the benefits of self employment, to which my response was that I agreed with  him wholly .

The way that I said it seemed to interest him, and I proceeded to explain that I am also self employed, so it put a bit of a dent in his sales pitch.

I became aware that it was a sales pitch when Terry behind the counter asked if I was going to become self employed to which I responded that I already was, which explains why I am often short on a few cents when I come to the store everyday.

He smiled, and said that the older mans idea of self employment was one of those things where you sign up for a program that you pay for, and what I was hearing was actually his sales pitch that he says to everyone when he comes to the store.

We both got a chuckle out of it as I headed out the door, to which my response was that I am self employed but not in that kind of way.

The moral of the story is that in actuality, there really was or is  no moral, other than the fact that there was and often seems to be a story unfolding in front of my face, which is actually my usual way of living, and while I sometimes struggle heavily with my decision to go for broke with my ventures into the the arena self employment, it seems that my actual job function is simply to share the stories with others as I am either creating or editing them.

For whatever reason, I seem to feel like Rod Sterling from

The Twilight Zone, which is a character in the story who is not fully in the story, but an observer and narrator of  the story.

This all happened earlier in the morning, between 7-8 A.M. and now it is 12 P.M. high noon, yet the question always remains the same that is best explained in an email message that I received this morning from my new friend Roxy, when I returned from my adventures.

Twitter Review – Should We Follow Who Follows Us?

For whatever reason, the number of visits is beginning to spike, so to show our appreciation for your interest, and time spent reading, I have decided to upgrade to conversation and dedicate more time to subject matters that
we all have questions about during our visits to cyberspace.

I am absolutely certain that a majority of people who use the micro blogging social networking website known as Twitter have pondered on this subject at some point, and now that the dynamics of Internet connectivity has shifted towards mobile devices, interestingly enough, the size of the messages has decreased with the size of the screens that the messages are sent and received on.

Of course, it’s a bit of a challenge for a person such as myself, with plenty to say, yet there are still a few who may take the time to give an ear, so here is what I have experienced.

At the end of the day, after much soul searching, it seems to all boil down to the human desire to be liked, respected, or agreed with, or avoidance of not being agreed with,  and much of my time in the year of 2009 was spent researching and speaking about this very subject.

It appears now that it has gotten to the point where a persons self worth is being based on the amount of followers that they have on Twitter, or the amount of friends that they have on other social networking websites along with the amount of attention and feedback that they receive.

It then began to show that most individuals tend to keep their amount of followers less than the amount of people that they follow, which I suspect is just a result of being human.

Then the celebrity factor comes into play which leads to people who are already well known through traditional mainstream media outlets to have an advantage with a disproportional amount of followers although the dynamics of online communications seems to be working towards leveling the playing field by allowing greater range of choice in regards to what viewers wish to tune in to and deem as relevant.

On a more personal note, I have actually experienced a falling out of sorts with a few individuals over the years who I chose not to follow on the PimpHop.com Twitter Page.

Honestly, it has been a strenuous debate and internal struggle, because I actually do believe that each and every individual has a certain degree of importance in word as well as deed, and due to my unique life experiences in the city of Los Angeles, I know first hand that celebrities and other important people have the same needs and challenges in life  as ordinary Jane’s and  Joe’s, even though most of the ordinary viewing public may have been made to believe otherwise.

In times past, the role of a celebrity was to inspire and educate others with their talents as opposed to being in a competition with non celebrities in a popularity contest.

My decision to shorten the following on Twitter was due to the fact that some individuals enter an extremely large amount of messages on a continuous basis throughout the day, which takes away time and focus from my duty which is to work towards offering content and services which may be to liking and benefit of the viewers

What I find most interesting is that although he could have license to be
too cool for school and keep his list of people that he follows slim, if I round up to the largest digit, I appears that he has nearly 1 million (726,852 following )individuals that he actually follows on Twitter.

Im sure that there is more to it as the Twitter account for The President as well as the rest of his social networking profiles are ran by the organization known as Organizing For America following the Chicago Style politics strategy of keeping an ear to the streets and the roots in the grass..

Yet and still, it really is the thought that counts, and his approach to things seems to show to be an attempt at helping others to achieve their goals, as that is the role of a Commander and Chief, so I will simply follow the example of the leader, and research the facts behind why his approach is in this fashion and how he is able to keep up to date with the millions of followers and following on his account.

In closing, I do know that he is often seem using tech gadgets including

iPod and Blackberry, which would confirm my out of this world belief, which is that while being the leader of the free world is a high stakes position, it is, like any other job, just a job, and as a man, the time spent working must also be matched with sufficient time to play, as it can’t be all work and no play, even for The President.

Perhaps its a testimonial of the fact that game recognizes game, so let the record reflect that Rihanna is on a whole different level.

I just had the chance to conduct a thorough analysis of her new song and video entitled Rockstar 101 featuring Slash from Guns N’ Roses, and it shows that she is single handedly holding down the entire much industry and pop culture in general as the force is unusually strong with her as an artist and entertainer.

A rockstar is a desirable thing to be for many girls and young women these days, and an opportunity to demonstrate the mission and collect tuition was capitalized on by Rihanna, while her last single Rude Boy is still buzzing on the airwaves.

The video is equipped with all of the Illuminati imagery to satisfy the needs of conspiracy theorist and fearful souls for years to come, which comes with the territory of just simply being outstanding and unique with a funny sounding name that begins with the letter “R”.

Roxy Enters The Picture

This entry is just a log of my daily adventures getting back to the duty of  Building Bridges & Not Walls that was discussed in one of yesterdays entries.

While out and about at the mall before the Lakers vs. Suns game, I had the chance to meet this young lady named Roxy with an extra interesting story to tell.

The story made short for today is that she actually helped me conduct research experiments here at PimpHop.com as we tested out the technologies on her slick myTouch T-Mobile smart phone.

The conversation then went on to include each of our plans for the future and her story of how she believes that she is destined to be famous.

I believe that the big picture is coming together as individuals who have the willingness and ability to evolve, so lets look at what her perspective is and see where we go from here.

Life is going to throw crazy situations at you. people are going to go thru difficult times but you gotta learn how to deal & take responsibility for your actions grow up & quit the bull shit. Everything you go thru only makes you stronger & wiser. How can you learn how to be who you are & want out of life if u don’t experience hard times. Is The Need For Privacy Based On Concerns About The Opinions Of Others?

We have reached yet another last Tuesday Newsday of the month, and the saga continues as the plot thickens.

I think different if you are not aware of it by now, so with the way my mind works, I believe that when shit appears to be beginning to hit the fan, the best course of action is to simply make like Costco and stock the shelves with plenty of toilet paper and Lysol at a reasonable price.

Getting right in to the meat of the matter, as we all know, with a household name print magazine like TIME placing the scenario of life and times on Facebook on the cover,the subject can be considered as relevant and something to look into on a deeper level, yet those who have been following along for the journey here at PimpHop.com Internet Magazine can already consider it as yesterdays news.

Anyhow, my opinion if you care to know, is that when it comes to matters of personal finance and health, information should be kept confidential as any self respecting individual knows not to hang their dirty laundry on the line to be given the possibility of viewing in the first place.

Outside of those matters, it seems that the real concern about the need for privacy stems from matters of personal interactions and preferences, meaning individuals have interest in or communications with individuals and things that would cause a decline in their reputation should the public be made aware of the news.

Oh what a tangled web YOU weave, when first you practice to deceive.

I could get deep, yet for the sake of this discussion, lets just again bring the matter up for pondering and discussion, as in all actuality, it really is your own opinion that matters the most , and whether or not your opinion shapes the opinions of others or is shaped by others is how we separate the players from the squares.

I took a few days away due to some interestingly unpredicted events, which usually indicates that changes for the better are in the works, yet I know not to let my fingers get rusty as I actually do in part, earn a living with them.

Interestingly enough, I had the opportunity to do something that used to be more of my usual routine before I began to focus heavily on writing and content creation, and that was to hit the streets to meet and greet.

Over the years, I have been in search of the certain something that has been missing that may have gotten lost in the shuffle as the Internet began to grow in popularity and usage as a tool of interaction amongst people.

As about as far back as I can remember, I for whatever reason have been somewhat of a social person and the kid who knew many other kids in different places and from different backgrounds, and in my teenage years, somehow I became somewhat of an ambassador who always connected different people together, to the extent that there are some people that actually have strong bonds with each other who met through me durring those times, that still maintain connections and share experiences with each other on some of the popular online social networking sites.

With that said, I can see now that my initial draw to the Internet in regards to business and life was it’s previously unimaginable ability to connect individuals together from various places around the globe, and since I enjoy traveling to different places and making new connections, I have always felt like it (the Internet) was a place that was made for me.

My ventures into the online arena actually began a few years before
the emotional climate change hit the planet, which I will discuss in greater detail when some of my works are made public, yet for the sake of this discussion, I will just make use of the power of imagery, and ask if the following image describes the change accurately and if you are even able to recall what the climate was like before being introduced to this new character and associated events?

As I stated before, more on this subject can be elaborated on at a later date, yet for now, history will reflect that whether it’s the boogieman or the sea monsters who threatened to consume individuals who decided to venture across the seas on a planet that was said to be flat, some form of stimulus has always existed to keep insecure people in check and in their familiar confines where things are normal and comfortable.

Of course as with all stories, there are two sides, and the fact that sticking to who and what you know automatically limits ones ability to grow is what seems to be surfacing all across the board along with the inner turmoil which is caused by the feeling of captivity, which again, shows to be self imposed with the trade off being comfort and safety.

To each their own is my motto, yet I do always find it to be an interesting coincidence that computer technology, which allows individuals a near limitless range of motion and horizon expansion, is showing to actually be more popular as a tool to be used for self imposed confinement, again, in the name of greater degrees of security and protection from the unfamiliar, sort of like a condom for ones being.

I Side With President Obama - Quit Smoking AFTER You Get Elected !

When I was out and about over the weekend, I did have an opportunity to initiate some conversations with strangers and introduce myself and shake a few hands, and noticed that my range of motion and knowledge did increase as I now know and am familiar with names and faces that I was not familiar with last weekend which indicates a growth in my game, so my goal for the month of June and beyond is to see how to better combine the power of computer technology to enhance my natural real life
self constructive tendencies which are to build bridges for myself as opposed to walls around myself.

NEWSFLASH – Scientist Have Successfully Created Artificial Life!
