Back to the lecture at hand.
The above quote is from my daily motivational email feed, and the image  above is from an interesting, intelligent, and down to earth female that is in on one of the social networking friends list for this online magazine, and perhaps if you’re lucky, she will soon introduce herself to you personally.

Anyhow, along with some reflection regarding the point of it all regarding this whole Internet phenomenon, I actually do have much to be blamed for in regards to mistakes made in the past as far as judgments, yet with grace, I have remained true enough to the original cause of this brand and online publication to be able to override the missteps, so observe if you will.

Playboy again is a magazine and a brand that is recognized worldwide with the ever popular white rabbit as it’s symbol, and ever since the concept of an online magazine came into my thought flow, I have pondered on the steps necessary to make this online publication hit the spot with an even more effective impact. I have reviewed the history of Playboy and its founder Hugh Hefner from various sources as well as

the entire philosophy of Playboy which is a lengthy manuscript that many are not aware exists, written out by Hefner over the years, which you can actually view for yourself by clicking this link.

My secret (in part) is out of the bag, as the fact would indicate that every single thing that you can think of or have seen and heard from and about Playboy and all of its extensions and associations began and are founded upon what you see in the image above which is Hefner pressing buttons, same as I am now and have been, and will most likely continue to be doing.

Back @ 5:30 pm and my break ran a bit over, and during that time I decided to shorten this post to approach this entire situation in a different way.

I am going to work towards having this young woman come and share her own stories with you which would be something out of the ordinary in regards to publications rather online or in print, and interestingly enough, she amongst other things, is actually a skilled and talented writer and communicator.

This post is just a quick in and out.
I just read the issue of Rolling Stone with Jay Z on the cover, in which he broke down some truths about himself and the music industry, and I can relate to what he said when he stated that one of the challenges he faces is keeping up with the new slang, even though he in a sense originated much of it.

I will definitely need help from some of the younger ones with this new phrase that I am seeing over and over again on the Internet so my dumb question is as follows.

What does it mean when a person says they own, or that another person owns, or asking if they can own when in picture galleries on social networking sites?

Help an older cat out here as I am not up on things like I used to be, but I still and always will know how to ask the
right people.

I have been away from pressing buttons on a consistent basis as a time for reflection based on what it is that I am witnessing, and have been witnessing as an emerging trend that has been gradually and now rapidly increasing since the beginning of my ventures into the online business arena in 2002.

I suppose I could read some books, study some blogs, and ask some experts about the bigger picture, yet with some things, they are enough to just accept as incorrect or just not for me through gut instict regardless of whether or not it is the popular and new normal way of thinking and doing.

I often ask myself if I am self absorbed as I know that the experts say that one needs to have a healthy degree of selfishness and narcissism to ensure survival,  yet I don’t have the slightest idea of where these so called borders that separate good and not so good selfishness lay out on the chart of life.

At the end of the day, I believe that as a  course of nature, all things balance out in which ever way that they need to in due time, which causes me to ponder on the exact reasons why individuals in such a massive percentage of the American and even global population seem to need continuous attention and notice regarding every minor detail of their daily and even hourly lives about matters that concern them and their own particular lives only which are becoming increasingly non productive, over consumptive, and dependent on outward sources of gratification.

If  I had to just be myself and come with some “Off The Wall Rylan Shit”,
I liken it to be like a baby inside of a crib (SmartPhone/Computer) that has become

dependent on a pacifier to fill some form of an inner emptiness, and interestingly enough, thinking back as far as the Tracy Ulman show in 1987 which is where the original cartoon skits known as The Simpsons originated,
Maggie Simpson would actually be of the current age of individuals who seem to be born with mobile devices which act as a pacifier attached to their physical persons, not to say that there are not older and younger participants in the new trend.

At this point, I just chalk it up as a result of growing older which perhaps makes me out of touch with some of the behaviors of those younger than myself, similar to Betty White who claimed on Saturday Night Live that she believed Facebook to be a waste of time when she was educated about it, yet there is still that part of me that agrees with Keith Sweat and the song which was on his debut album released interestingly enough in the late 80s’

Playboy Sues Drake for Copyright Infringement

It is always an interesting challenge for me as a writer to keep things within somewhat of a
familiar to earthlings context and simultaneously avoid the pop culture bandwagon machine mania effect, so this news story should do well to serve our purposes.

The new spotlight Cash Money/ Universal artist known as Drake has been sued by Playboy Enterprises for copyright infringement.

In the suit, which Playboy filed in a California federal court on June 25, the company says that Drake, whose real name is Aubrey Graham, used material from the 1975 song “Fallin’ in Love,” by Hamilton, Joe Frank & Reynolds. Playboy owns the rights to that song. Cash Money Records, Universal Music Group and Universal Music Group Distribution are also named as defendants in the suit. Representatives for Playboy Enterprises, Drake and Universal had no comment.

From a PimpHop.com Perspective, I actually endorse Drake as an artists and believe that he is good for the game as he represents a shift from the usual industry package rapper complete with tattoos, criminal history, and elementary school level vocabulary.

It is an interesting catch 22 as Playboy is in fact a magazine first and foremost, which is where the brand began, and with sales of and interest in their publication in sharp decline, I find it interesting that someone was listening close enough to the song by Drake to be able to draw a reference to a song which they as a non music related media company just so happen to own the rights to.

I agree with the popular adage that greed is good, and I believe as such because it is always a clear signal of lack and hunger on the part of the individual or group that embodies the emotion of greed.

My mind has been in the 80’s as of late for some odd reason, and I always seem to think back to movies and music that I used to ponder on as a child.

In the classic Steven Spielberg release, known as E.T. which I saw at the local drive in with my older brother, I seemed to best identify with  the perspective of the Extra Terrestrial more so than the kids that befriended him, and maybe its simply due to the fact that his skin color was the same as mine, as if some kind of subconscious factor was running in my mind.

Anyhow, in 2009, text messaging is a standard way of communicating for people all over the world, which uses a key pad similar to what I am using to communicate this message. for E.T. it appears that it was somewhat of a

“When on Earth, Do As The Earthlings Do,”

type of thought process, so since necessity is known as
the mother of all invention, E.T. decided to use his iszms and

to function in the same way that a telephone would, which he saw being used on television as well as a comic strip in the newspaper in order to get his message to the desired recipients.

It also always stands to reason that the person who was able to relate to E.T. the best was the young girl, who is now grown woman

Drew Barrymore.

She was the one who actually taught him how to speak her language as she had a need to be able to communicate with him more effectively, even though she was able to intuitively sense what he was conveying better than her brothers could.
